Text Banking Frequently Asked Questions

  • You can sign up one of two ways:
    • Call the Central Online Services Department at 1-888-262-5456 for assistance in getting set up, OR...
    • If using a smartphone, download our mobile app
    • Tap the Menu icon
    • Tap Text Banking
    • Two-Way Text Banking
    • Read the agreement
    • Enter your mobile phone number
    • Tap Agree
    • In a few minutes you will receive a welcome text message
    • Begin sending commands to the sender of the welcome message
  • What are the commands?
    • BAL - Balances for all enrolled accounts
    • BAL {acct} (where {acct} is either the last 4 digits of the account number or the short code you specified) - Balance for specified account
    • HIST - Last 5 transaction dates and amounts on all enrolled accounts
    • HIST {acct} (where {acct} is either the last 4 digits of the account number or the short code you specified) - Last 5 transaction dates and amounts for specified account
    • XFER {fromAcct} {toAcct} {amt} (where {fromAcct} account you're transfering funds from, {toAcct} is the account you're transferring to, and {amt} is the amount you're transferring) - Transfer funds between accounts ex) XFER 1234 6321 5.00

  • What type of mobile devices can be used for text banking?

    Our Two-Way Text Banking product works with any phone with text messaging capabilities.

  • What functions can I perform from my mobile device?

    You can:

    • View Account Balances
    • View Transaction History (5 most recent transactions)
    • Transfer Funds between accounts
    • View Help Menu showing available commands
  • How much transaction history will I be shown?

    Due to character limitations, only the most recent five transaction dates and amounts are shown.

Secure Page Sign-In

Ensuring the security of your personal information is important to us. When you sign in to Online Banking on our home page, your User Name and Password are secure. The moment you click the Log In button, we encrypt your user name and password using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology.

Browser Security Indicators

You may notice when you are on our home page that some familiar indicators do not appear in your browser to confirm the entire page is secure. Those indicators include the small "lock" icon in the bottom right corner of the browser frame and the "s" in the Web address bar (for example, "https").
