Setting Up an External Account for Payments
If you do not have a Central National Bank account, you are able to set up an account with another institution and use that to make payments to your loan. Please note that this account must be a checking or savings account that will accept ACH transactions. The limit for these transfers defaults to $1,000/transaction, so if you will be needing a higher limit, please reach out to your loan officer or call us at 888-262-5456.
- Log in at centralnational.com or the mobile app.
- In the menu along the left, choose Transfers, and then select + External Account. You will then be prompted to for two-factor authentication before you can proceed.
- Carefully complete the required information, including the routing number and account number.
- For Account Type, choose whether it's a checking or savings account. This is critical, as choosing the wrong type can lead to them rejecting the transfer. If you're unsure, it's best to check with the external institution.
- After you choose Submit, two small deposits will be sent to the external account. It will take 1-3 business days for the deposits to show.
- Once the deposits are showing in the external account, log back in to Central National Bank, and go back to the Transfers menu.
- Now choose External Accounts and you'll see the external account. After selecting that account, you will see two fields to enter the amount of the deposits. Once you've entered those, choose Confirm, and then the account will be available for transfers.
