Frequently Asked Questions
How do I open a safe deposit box?
To open a safe deposit box, check with a personal banker or teller at your local Central National Bank.
If you are already a customer, we can get you set up quickly and easily with nothing more than ID verification.
If you are not a current customer, we will need a little bit of information from you so we can set you up in the system. This information includes: Name, Address, Date of Birth, Social Security Number, Phone Number and Occupation. We also need a current driver's license.
Why do you need to verify my identity or keep a driver's license on file?
Central National Bank takes customer privacy very seriously. We verify your identity so we can keep your belongings safe. If you already have the box set up we may ask to verify your identity when you access the box.
What size boxes do you have?
Our safe deposit boxes come in all shapes and sizes. Due to the differences in vault size and shape, we cannot guarantee that we have the same box sizes available at all locations, nor can we guarantee availability. Please see your local branch to find out more.
How much does a safe deposit box cost?
Our rates vary depending on box size. You can expect a box to be $15 a year, on the low end.
The contents of safe deposit boxes are not deposits and are not insured by this bank or by the FDIC. Safe deposit customers may obtain coverage on box contents from their own insurance agents.
